  • So fascinating. I grew up on a sheep farm in the 1950s. Our flock was small comparatively. We had40 or 50 ewes. And one old boy. One of my orphans grew up to be the new boy. He thought I was his Mom. Bus driver called me Mary Little because. my grown up lamb tried to get on the school bus with me.

  • Why do people think they should interfere in the births of animals? The animals manage it themselves and have done so for millions of years. It's so idiotic to look at.

  • You're doing well to leave the triplets with their natural mum. You can always top up with the bottle if there's not enough milk for all.

  • That "thicker milk" that you referred to is not just thick milk. I am assuming that you did not nurse when you had your babies, because that was straight colostrum aka liquid GOLD!! The colostrum comes in before the milk. You will have the opportunity to collect this on the mothers who lose their babies for whatever reason, and therefore, feed this to the bottle babies that you are feeding the fake colostrum to.

  • I found out with dogs, if the milk is really thick it's best to massage with a warm cloth or get a baby to nurse as soon as possible so she won't get mastitis or blocked up. Sometimes if the babies still won't nurse, you can milk the test till it runs clear and give a little sugar to the mom so the milk gets a little sweet. The little ones tend to nurse after that.

  • This brings lots of memories when I worked on a sheep farm in the 70's. Baby black lambs then, so cute. I could easily have adjusted to life on a farm with the daily work routine when I was younger. I chose the USAF instead after high school.

  • What a weird thing to choose to do. Treating animals like a commodity. Mothers and babies that are just slaves. It's not a necessity of life it's chosen. Very gross and sad.

  • Why don't people see how wrong it is to treat motherhood this way. Bred to produce babies and then the babies taken away, their milk stolen and presumably the babies eaten. Captive enslaved birthing

  • Brings back my memories from being in FFA in high-school. Miss those days. Sheep were my Favorite. My Suffolk Ewe always had Triplets and I had to bottle feed the 3rd lamb.. Loved showing them and raising them. Hope to have more someday. Family finally got property so I'm hoping within the next 6 mos... I ♥️ Ewe .

He passed away but loved his lambs and sheep. I'm a NICU RN, I go to all the high risk deliveries for multiples. Love what you do!😌👏🙏

  • Do you know where you would go if you died today? Heaven or hell? Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven (John 14.6). Simply by believing in Jesus and what he did at the cross to pay for all of our sins, past, present and future, you can be guaranteed eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬. He’s waiting, please don’t delay 💙

  • First time seeing this video, I have no knowledge on farming. Why can't the sheep be left to labour? Is it the same as humans where they dilate to 10 centimetres and the body knows what to do? What do you do with the male lambs? How are the sheep not in massive amounts of pain having a hand assist the birth?

  • If they were outside where I live the darn coyotes would get them. They kill all of our outdoor dogs, cats and a friend lost his entire herd of goats to them twice. The second time he decided to give up on goats. He only has donkeys and horses now. They also ate all of his chickens, geeze and swans.
